MARDAN: Another victim of firing on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) public meeting in Mardan, has succumbed to injuries on Saturday, raising the death toll to five. According to details, a Tehsil Councillor, Mohmand Khan was also among the dead while another 10 are still being treated in the hospital. On the other hand, funeral prayers for four people have also been offered amid strict security. It was learned that PTI Tehsil Councilor and other party workers were on their way to attend the rally when they engaged in a one-on-one exchange with political rivals of Awami National Party (ANP). Both the groups opened straight fire in a blink, which resulted in the death of the Tehsil Councillor, Mardan Municipal worker, Ikram Shah Jahan and Qasim Khan. Moreover, the police personnel have also lodged two cases into the matter.
