PESHAWAR: Advisor to Prime Minister, Engineer Ameer Muqam on Tuesday said that China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a project of supreme importance for Pakistan but unfortunately certain elements are misleading people for their personal interests.
Talking to media persons here, he said that work on western route of economic corridor was in full swing and those who were propagating controversies relating to the project were only diverting concentration of masses from core issues.
He said that federal government was working to usher country in a new phase of prosperity and development adding CPEC would be a milestone to achieve the objective. The prime minister advisor said that if completion of the project was jeopardized it would affect country’s progress and growth.
