RAWALPINDI: Dacoits on Wednesday robbed Rs 20 million from a branch of Bank Al-Falah on Peshawar Road near Chor Chowk.
Five robbers came in a Toyota Corolla car and entered the bank after beating a guard who suffered injuries, Westridge Police Station Station House Officer Malik Asif said.
On receiving information about the heist, senior police officers, including Rawalpindi Regional Police Officer Fakhar Sultan Raja, City Police Officer Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi, Senior Superintendent of Police Operation Irfan Tariq and others reached the crime scene and started investigation.
