SRINAGAR: All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) Chairman Syed Ali Gilani has said that India is working on different plans including construction of soldier colonies, separate townships for Kashmiri Pandits and introduction of industrial policy to prolong its forced occupation of Indian-held Kashmir (IHK).
Presiding over a meeting of the APHC advisory council at his Hyderpora residence in Srinager, he said that work on these anti-people projects had been expedited since the PDP-BJP coalition came into power, Kashmir Media Service reported on Tuesday. He pointed out that communal forces had started materialising the dream of RSS through use of government machinery. Syed Ali Gilani deplored that puppet Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and her party PDP had sold away everything that belonged to Kashmir and the Kashmiri people including their identity. He said that no Kashmiri was against the return of Pandits but Indian policymakers wanted to divide Muslims and Pandits in the name of religion.
Meanwhile, speakers at a seminar organised by Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement in Jammu have demanded amicable settlement of the Kashmir dispute involving the Kashmiri people in the process. The one-day seminar, which was presided over by JKFM Chairman Muhammad Sharief Sartaj, explored means and ways for restoration of durable peace in South Asia.
